MAP Sheet 98, 1/50000 or Outdoor Leisure No 2 (4 cm to 1 Km)

All stations maintain LISTENING watch at all times, on the main frequency 144.625
Numbers are to be sent in three digit form for all numbers and in groups of five e.g. 004 023 321 073 088 sending a break and waiting for either "all copied" or "resend all"

Valley Operator's report when arrive at location and then when set up and ready.

SUMMIT OPERATORS, You MUST take some form of shelter, tent or Emergency shelter. Listening watch on way up, report when arrived!! on the summit, then when set up and ready for radio traffic.

Be ready to take down list of NON-STARTERS, about 15 minutes after race starts, (10:15Hrs) This will be relayed via G7LRG Graham G3CPS Net control G8XIG to send numbers on separate frequency 145.200 to Pen-y-Ghen.

Then when other checkpoints are ready, call control FIRST then you will be passed to another frequency if needed.
The SportsIdent system should give us the order and times of runners through your checkpoint, but if not be ready to send the info below.
REPORT FIRST 10 through your checkpoint, (Marshals will give numbers).

Valley points, report when requested, by marshals, give a call to race control every 15min even if no traffic.

RETIREMENTS by blocks of five numbers., to be sent in three digit form. eg. 001 046 147 372 444
For peak operators, retirements will be sent in blocks of five numbers with "break" for confirmation.

ALL check points to wear there hi visible tabards or jackets at all times.

We need to be seen, as there are new marshals on the checkpoints and new RAYNET personal at checkpoints
