2011 event is changing by the week and sometimes the day - the weather has been a large factor again this year, the rain is constant and making the use of Sykeside campsite near Hartsop not viable, an alternate location is being sought, the information on this page is for reference only, the locations of the checkpoints will only change slightly in the valleys, the route is now clockwise, so checkpoint times will change.

The start and finish is confirmed at Patterdale, Plan "A" is now online, maps will be amended to show the route. The info below is for reference only, these routes described are Anti-clockwise, so use for reference only until I get the clockwise maps finished.

The grid references on the master plan should always be checked before you set out for your checkpoint, especially the fell toppers. If there are any errors please let me know ASAP -

This year the route is being run Anti-clockwise so the checkpoints are in reverse order to those which we are used to. I am still getting the timings of the opening and closing times. There will be the organisers course details in both Word (doc) format and Adobe format (pdf) so you can download the notes and read those which affect your checkpoint.

These maps are NOT to be used for navigation purposes, always check the route and plot it on your own map!!!
